CSA HARVEST SHARE MEMBERSHIP

What Is A CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct partnership between farmers and their community.

When you become a CSA Member, you support a portion of a farm’s operating budget by purchasing “shares” of the season’s harvest in advance of the growing season. You then get to enjoy weekly pickups of fresh produce and eat through the seasons alongside other members! A CSA share includes an assortment of vegetables picked up at the farm right after they are harvested. Pickups are Tuesdays during the summer season from 3pm to 6pm, and run for 20 weeks from end of May through October.

CSA members make a commitment to support the farm financially throughout the growing season, thereby assuming some of the costs and risks along with the grower.

Check out our blog for more reasons why the CSA model is good for farmers, eaters & our food system.

  • “It helped to absolutely revolutionize and revitalize our relationship with vegetables (from trying some things for the first time, such as kohlrabi and pattypans; to learning with delicious results that carrots tops can be made into pesto; to eating greens every day)”
